Wendy Fairchild graduated from Bogue Chitto High School in 2004 as the Salutatorian of her class. Ms. Fairchild was not only academically inclined, but she was also a leader among her peers. Being the President of the Beta Club at her school was among one of the leadership roles she held. She also participated in extracurricular activities such as softball and basketball.
After graduating from high school, Ms. Fairchild continued her education at Copiah Lincoln Community College (CO-LIN) where she received an Associate’s degree in Accounting. In 2009, Ms. Fairchild received her Bachelor’s degree in Business Technology Education from The University of Southern Mississippi. In August of 2015, Ms. Fairchild received her Master’s degree in Secondary Education from William Carey University.
Her teaching career began at Enterprise Attendance Center (EAC) in 2011. After a very successful year at EAC, Ms. Fairchild began teaching at Denman Junior High School. This is currently her fourth year teaching 7th grade math here at Denman Junior High. She is also an active member of the technology board for the district.
Ms. Fairchild believes that it is important to teach character along with the required curriculum in order for students to achieve their full potential.
